Campit Pride, Taste of Campit and the 2013 Miss Campit Pageant  June 21, 22 & 23

It’s PRIDE weekend at Campit!

Rainbows will be everywhere and love will be in the air.  That’s how we show our Pride.  Come OUT and show us your Pride!

This weekend will feature the second annual Taste of Campit fundraiser.   A number of us will be busy cooking and preparing some favorite dishes for you to sample.  You’ll help us raise money for the Mr. (Status) Friendly Campaign with your votes for the most delectable dishes.

Also this weekend is the 2013 Miss Campit Contest and Pageant !  We are still accepting contestants so tell your favorite star to get in touch with us at Campit ! ! Several former Miss Campit’s are returning to bring us an over the top show this weekend!  Come out and see your favorites perform here once again, and help us choose Miss Campit 2013.

Who's Your Daddy Bears Weekend and the 2013 Mr. Campit Cub Contest

Who’s Your Daddy Weekend Review;

What a great weekend!  Campit's Horseshoes areas were bustling with tenters and the pool was full of Bears!

Friday evening began with a Meet ‘n Greet hosted by our seasonal Dale R.  He put out a great spread, and many showed up to get acquainted.  Later we enjoyed a movie by the pool.

Saturday the Bears enjoyed the pool and mid- afternoon we got the Mr. Campit Cub contestants busy foraging for their list of goodies – a not so subtle way to get out and meet and talk with fellow Campit Members.  Later in the evening, we all gathered at the Clubhouse for the contest, as DJ Bob spun tunes in anticipation of the show.  Judging wasn’t easy as we had 3 great contestants in Jay M., Michael L, and Keith.

In the end Keith was chosen as Mr. Campit Cub for 2013 by our judges.   Congratulations Keith !  You will represent Campit’s beautiful Cubs very well this year !
